ABOUT THIS LIVESTREAM
Virtual Railfan’s cameras in Spartanburg, South Carolina, are hosted by the Hub City Railroad Museum inside the historic Southern Railway depot. The building also serves as an active Amtrak waiting room for the Crescent (trains 19 and 20).

Once served by seven rail lines from four railroads, Spartanburg earned the nickname “Hub City” in the early 20th century. Today, Norfolk Southern’s Charlotte District mainline passes the depot, with about 20 trains daily — including intermodal, manifest, locals, and Amtrak. The line is double-tracked between Beaumont to the north and Lyman to the south.
