Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 29, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Live Video World ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website and services (the "Service"), and the rights you have over your information. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Who We Are

For the purposes of applicable data protection laws, Live Video World is the controller of the personal data processed through the Service. You can reach us regarding privacy at seoul80s@gmail.com.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide

  • Account information — your email address, nickname, and password (stored only as a secure hash).
  • Profile image — an optional picture you choose to upload.
  • Preferences — your marketing-email preference and the videos you save as favorites.
  • Communications — information you send us, for example by email.

Information collected automatically

  • Log and device data — such as your IP address and timestamps recorded when you sign in (used for account security and abuse prevention).
  • Cookies and similar technologies — including a session cookie, an optional "remember me" cookie, and a security (CSRF) token, as well as analytics and advertising cookies described below.

Information used to operate account security

  • Verification and reset tokens — temporary tokens generated for email verification and password resets.
  • Account-deletion records — timestamps related to any account-deletion or recovery request.

3. How We Use Information and Legal Bases

We use the information above to:

  • provide, maintain, and improve the Service, including saving your favorites and preferences;
  • create and manage your account and authenticate you;
  • keep the Service secure, prevent fraud and abuse, and troubleshoot problems;
  • communicate with you about your account and, where you have opted in, about updates or news;
  • measure and analyze how the Service is used; and
  • comply with legal obligations.

Where the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, our legal bases are: performance of a contract (to provide the Service you request); your consent (for example, marketing emails and non-essential cookies); our legitimate interests (to secure and improve the Service); and compliance with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent at any time.

4. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use strictly necessary cookies to run the Service (for example, to keep you signed in and to protect against cross-site request forgery). With your consent where required, we also use analytics and advertising cookies:

  • Google Analytics — helps us understand aggregate usage of the Service.
  • Google AdSense — serves advertising that helps keep the Service free, and may use cookies to personalize ads.

You can control cookies through your browser settings and manage Google ad personalization via Google Ad Settings. Disabling some cookies may affect how the Service works.

5. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third parties who may process certain data as part of delivering their features:

  • YouTube / Google — video streams are embedded via YouTube players, which may set cookies and collect data under the Google Privacy Policy.
  • Google Analytics and Google AdSense — as described above.

These providers act as independent controllers or our processors depending on the activity, and their own privacy policies govern the data they collect.

6. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We may share information:

  • with service providers who process data on our behalf to operate the Service;
  • with advertising and analytics partners through cookies as described above;
  • to comply with law, enforce our terms, or protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the Service; and
  • in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

7. International Data Transfers

The Service is available globally. Your information may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in countries other than the one in which you reside, including countries whose data protection laws may differ from yours. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses) for such transfers.

8. Data Retention

We keep personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain certain information to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements. Temporary tokens (such as verification and reset tokens) are short-lived and expire automatically.

9. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including storing passwords only as secure hashes and protecting authenticated actions against cross-site request forgery. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights. You can exercise them by contacting us at seoul80s@gmail.com. Many settings can also be changed directly in your account.

EU / UK (GDPR)

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data; to data portability; and to withdraw consent at any time. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

California (CCPA/CPRA)

You have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and disclose it; to request deletion or correction; and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell personal information for money. However, the use of advertising cookies (such as Google AdSense) may be considered "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law. You can opt out by disabling advertising cookies in your browser, using Google Ad Settings, or by enabling a recognized opt-out preference signal such as Global Privacy Control (GPC), which we honor where required. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

11. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Please review this Policy periodically.

13. Contact
