ABOUT THIS LIVESTREAM
Virtual Railfan’s cameras in Jonesborough, Tennessee, are located at the historic Chuckey Depot Museum, overlooking Norfolk Southern’s Knoxville East District (A-Line). This is the former Southern Railway mainline between Lynchburg, VA, and Chattanooga, TN via Bristol. The East Cam looks toward Roanoke, Virginia, while the West Cam faces Knoxville, Tennessee.
The depot, originally from Chuckey, TN, was relocated and restored as a museum by the Watauga Valley Railroad Historical Society & Museum in partnership with the City of Jonesborough. Visitors can enjoy the town’s shops, restaurants, and historic charm while taking in modern railroading on this busy NS route.
