ABOUT THIS LIVESTREAM
Virtual Railfan’s live train cameras at Battle Creek, Michigan, are mounted atop the historic Grand Trunk Western passenger station (opened 1907), overlooking Canadian National’s South Bend Subdivision, a busy rail corridor connecting Chicago and Port Huron. Hosted by Community Action, these cameras capture approximately 20 daily CN thru-freights, plus locals, Norfolk Southern’s locals on trackage rights from CP Baron to CP Gord, and Amtrak’s 8 daily trains (2 Blue Water, 6 Wolverine). Located in Cereal City, USA, home to Kellogg’s and Post, viewers can watch locals switch at the Post factory next to CP Baron. Tune in for a mix of freight and passenger action in one of Michigan’s busiest rail bottlenecks!
